Quite a lot of people are trying to cut down on their car use. A few years back we went from having two cars to one. It was a bit scary but ever since I’ve used my e-bike a whole lot more. There is always a bit of a concern though with not having a car – what if I need one?

A couple of my friends have put their own family car in a scheme that allows local residents to hire their car when they really need a car. It’s like a Car Club offered by people like Enterprise but there is an alternative option – it’s called hiyacar. It allows car owners to get a bit of extra cash and the person borrowing to rent a car from a local person quite cheaply.
